There will be scores of skilled crafts-people who sell unique handicraft items made of a large variety of materials. They have gathered in Tartu, to cook flavoursome dishes, delicious tit-bits and to introduce their handicraft skills to the visitors.
All visitors will find something useful, interesting or simply entertaining from the variety of items on sale.
The Hanseatic Fair combines all eras into one great party of epochs, towns and cultures and makes Tartu Hanseatic Days burst with fun and joy.

If you want to bring the food home with you, we offer you a wide variety of smoked and dry-cured fish, game sausages, goat cheese, handicraft breads, traditional Estonian barley bread and homemade beer.
The Peasants’ market (in the end of Küüni street on the side of Uue-Turu Street) offers fresh soured pickle, home-grown strawberries, tomatoes and peas, honey and honey products, herbal and berry teas, herbs, organic products, sea buckthorn products, farm produce and organic cosmetics.
The children’s area of the Hanseatic Fair is located in the park on Küüni Street and all children are invited to come and play, jump around and enjoy themselves.
