The Country Town in the Pirogov Park behind the Town Hall is a place for the country folk. A stronghold for farm work, a home ground for cowhide shoes and a natural arena for bagpipes. Here, adults and children alike can hear, see, touch, smell and taste everything connected to the works and dealings of Estonian country folk since the dawn of times. The secrets of ancient handicraft, cattle and goats, runic songs and Estonian dialects, Townspeople and Hanseatic guests will be there for the townspeople and Hanseatic guests to see.
